The most urgent date is actually August 3, the last day to claim July's games. After the rotation, the previous lineup is normally no longer available through that monthly offer. On August 4, check the Store again and claim the August trio. Sony says Monthly Game lineups may differ by region, and storefront updates can appear at different local times, so rely on the availability shown for the country tied to your account.
The August 2026 claim deadline is August 31. “Download date” is common search wording, but installation is not the critical deadline. The important action is adding the game entitlement to your library. That lets you postpone a large download until you have storage space, a faster connection, or time to play.
How to claim the August Monthly Games
- Wait until the Monthly Games update appears for your account on August 4.
